Waters Edge Silver is beachcomer jewelry. Artifacts, textures and inspiration gathered from walks along the waters edge. An artist's exploration of nature that is rooted in place. Textures are created with metal clay, sand casting, and traditional techniques of hammer and fire. Colour comes from ocean tumbled historic sea glass. Sparkles from gemstones and soft soothing neutrals from beach stones and fossils. It is a collection that is unique, timeless and organic.

Jessandra Phillips is a mainly self taught artist who learned to bezel set and fabricate with sterling silver in order to make jewelry out of her collection of sea glass beach stones and shells. She works from her home studio on Mayne island on a small farm surrounded by apple trees, goats and sheep, ducks and turkeys, with the ocean a short walk away.
