Jasmine Alexander is a visual artist based in Nanaimo, BC. Rooted in painting, her body of work draws from nature, dreams, and memory, and is often informed by her love for the outdoors.

Raised in both Vancouver, BC and Halifax, NS, Alexander received her BFA from NSCAD University, has been an artist-in-residence internationally, and has exhibited and sold her work globally. She is a descendant of Dutch and African-Canadian immigrants and is proud to create on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, the traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation.
