About the Founder
Sarah Wilson is a potter and the founder of Wilson & Co., a unique studio and gallery located in Ladysmith, BC.
Originally from Ireland, Sarah’s path in ceramics led her to Vancouver Island in 2022, where she completed a two-year apprenticeship with renowned potter Mary Fox as part of the Mary Fox Legacy Project. This formative experience deepened her connection to the craft and shaped her approach to both making and sharing pottery.
At Wilson & Co., Sarah creates her own line of functional and sculptural ceramics — pieces grounded in utility, quiet beauty, and a sense of presence. Her work, like the gallery itself, is rooted in care, community, and the belief that art should be part of daily life.
